Upside Downside Capital is written by a private investor sharing ideas. The somewhat literal title is to note the basic requirement of ideas to assess the risk of Downside / Loss against the possible Upside / Gain, unlike much sell-side research which attempts to model a single outcome and “target price”. Through this lens I hope to share ideas where the risk / reward is compelling.

I invest internationally, across sectors, often in smaller companies. Therefore you will find a wide range of ideas.
